About
Houseplants have never been hotter - you don't need me to tell you that. As our urban jungles begin to grow, so does our need to keep these green babies alive and lush, no easy feat. There's a big difference between having a plant and having a NICE looking and happy plant. Brown edges? Droopy leaves? White bugs? Lackluster vibes? We've heard you and that's why we created the perfect workshop to teach you exactly how to have a healthy and happy plant jungle at home.
Join exotic houseplant aficionado Liz (owner of 250+ houseplants and NODE) as she walks you through the ins and outs of how to make your houseplants look FAB. We'll teach you everything you need to know about the common (and most exciting houseplants), how to look after your plants so they thrive, the types of soils you need to be using (spoiler alert - it's not indoor plant soil from your local garden center), how to pot up plants properly, how to check and identify and squash out common pests, what light your plant needs and how to water correctly (most of us get it wrong, don't feel bad), and most importantly, HOW TO MAKE YOUR PLANTS LOVE YOU BACK.
No experience needed. Delightful refreshments and snacks will be provided by Liz's partner Giulio Sturla (of Mapu Test Kitchen) and luckily New Zealand chef of the year in 2018.
