The curious (and weird) world of living stones
Time & Location
18 Apr 2021, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm NZST
NODE, 8 London Street, Lyttelton 8082, New Zealand
Haven't you heard? Lithops are all the rage in 2021. The houseplant you can't kill if you tried. After all, it almost never needs to be watered and thrives on neglect. Our kind of plant child! Lithops (aka living stones, elephant feet, or sheep bums, depending on who you ask) are such a cool feature to add to your home or desk. Locally grown and available in heaps of colors, lithops are so much fun. Growing ever so slowly, you can pot up a few lithops together and make a rainbow plant garden.
Join us at NODE and together we will make the preferred substrate that Llithops thrive in as well as pot up three up which you get to take home. We'll have a wide variety of colors to chose from and you can add even more if you want and even upgrade into handmade special lithops planters. We'll teach you everything you need to know about keeping these curious creatures thriving and happy.
No experience needed. Delightful refreshments and snacks will be provided.
