About
Join us and learn how to make your own living hanging kokedama.Â
Join us here at NODE to learn the art and craft of the Japanese Kokedama - a traditional bonsai form. Kokedama, simply translated, means "moss ball." Sometimes called string gardens, each kokedama can sit in a shallow dish or hang with the attached line loop, making them lovely additions to any window or tabletop or hanging around your home. You'll create your own Kokedama from an exotic plant of your choosing, and learn best practices for care and upkeep to keep your new string garden beautiful and healthy.Â
In this VIRTUAL class, you'll create your very kokedama. We will provide you with a list of supplies to have on hand and suggestions for sourcing them. If you are in New Zealand, we can organize a shipment of supplies.
No experience needed.
