This little lithop garden is green and red and comes in a 10 cm mint-colored pot with chunky soil topped with a layer of pumice.

Lithops aka living stones, *might* be the weirdest houseplant we've ever laid eyes on - and that's saying something! Hailing from the desert in southern Africa, lithops are a type of succulent adapted to harsh sun and no rain, extremely slow-growing, and they can live for decades.

Lithops need direct, bright light, and only water a few times a year, and not in summer when they're dormant. Give a little spritz if they appear soft or shriveled.
